This was weird, and now I have time to talk about it. For some peculiar reason I was going home with two big bags packed with grocerys and coud'nt have a 120 view angle. At one point I wanted to cross the street when a lady stopped me, telling me to pay attention because an ambulance was passing by. She was holding me pretty tight from not crossing the street so I figured that maybe it is better not to cross the street. And we crossed it together. By the time we reached the half of it I found out that this particular lady has been hit by a bus when she was 18, stayed in hospital for 3 month, had a friend when she was little that somehow managed to get killed by an ambulance before her eyes. And then we switched the street, but not the story. At 20 she lost her first child, 2 more came along later;they are healthy and are now looking twice before crossing a street. And all this information was told in less than 4 minutes. I was like woow I was told a life story-short version without even asking. What got me thinking is that I cannot sum up my life in less than 4 minutes.Can you?

I am a Nikon. It is exactly what this cover from Greenpeace Magazin reminded me. It’s funny..I went out to buy Elle Fashion Magazin and I ended reading about all the disasters in the world. Yeah, I’ve just gave up beautiful faces and beautiful cloths that no one wears on the street for some street smart looks. I was simply surprised of how fashionable this magazin really is .It’s about true people and their problems. It has a way in talking about all the horrors that you can imagine and that are affection our everyday life into something that is not so scary. The pictures are amazing..so it is worth to read it..or just check the pictures out. It sort of made some light in the German issues, that I kept hearing during lunch, like how bio the products from the discounter really are, how the quest for the big fish is turning in the quest for little fish, a lot on nuclear energy, and every other ecological disaster that you can imagine around the globe.

And what got me writing was this: An issue over Personal Mines .They still exist and they still cripple people. Therefore, I salute the initiative of green peace for every Abo that you make they promise to clean 6 square meters of Land in Bosnien.

I've been told before coming here that this museum is a must and it is also fun.It's not everyday that you hear "museums are fun".So what the heck!! the thing is I was totally blowned away..it presents in a fun and comprehensible way everything (mixture of geography biology, phisics and all sciences of life) I've learned so far at school, highschool, university....like woow.great graphics, great design, and a mesage to remember. It is time to take action and be responsable for everything we are doing.We have one planet! Let's keep it as beautiful as we saw it :)

When I read this, I thought about Moby for whatever reason. From “The picture of Dorian Gray”- a book that I keep asking myself, how come I did not read it earlier.

After reading the news this week, I started feeling totally miserable about all the desasters described in the newspapers, from the floods in Pakistan to the death of 5 infants in a maternity in Bucharest.And it seems there is at least a website that track all the desasters, natural or not, that occur every day on http://globaldisasterwatch.blogspot.com/

So many things have happened latelly that I didn't have time for any more updates.Surprisingly I have an internship.Even more suprisingly I have made the right choise, I mean the people I work with are incredible.They support me in everything I do, and let's make it clear from now, that I don't make things right from the first try.All this means that I've set camp in another location.Just moved the 6th time in the past 9 month.(I should stop counting cause this is really not important..I'll move so many times in the near future that well..it doesn't matter any more)
Second, would be that I have a new bike thanks to Paola.Talk about nice people, well Paola really made my days here in Bremerhaven.Just before she left for San Diego she gave me her awasome Chaser bike (the best bike I had the pleasure riding so far).So I am biking every day at least 1 hour and a half.I guess this is one of the nice things about Germany..the bike experience..they ride all so profesional..like they were born on the bikes..it's really impressive.
Third, let's see..the people in the city I've met so far are nice.
Forth, they have good train connection so that I can travel almost anywhere on the north shore with my Niedersachsen Ticket.
Although there are so many good points something is fishy here..the police is really vigilent here.In the past 1o days they've stoped me 2 times just to let me know..hey you were suppose to ride on the street not on the pedestrian side( the fine is between 20 and 40 euro depending on how much german you understand).And even today, somehow I managed to be on the wrong lane on the oposite direction than the cars were going..pointless to say that right in that moment a police car spotted me, but phew..they did not stop me.And people, too act really crazy when you are on the wrong side of the pedestrian street.Come to think of it I don't find all this rules that stupid as I did at the very beginning, at least if I fallow them(hopefully) my chances in having an accident will decrease considerably.

I know,I know I keep talking about football, but it is funny how germans change my perception on this game.Till I came here I didn't give to much importance to the games,but here everybody is so hooked up into the game,and they live with such pation every game of the national team, that it really impressed me.In a way more impressive is the fact that they really let it all out when they are really happy.The pics are from 2 weekends ago, they were taken in Oldenburg.I can not really describe in words what crazyness was on the streeets, like I have never seen before, people were dancing in the street,happy and drunk.
In the end football brings people together, sets nations apart, it really messes things out.And in the end I am really glad that Spain won.With suporters like Alberto and Juan Luis, well no wonder they won!

Football for sure is one of the most intense German experiences you can get. It doesn’t matter if you are a woman or a man, these people just love football. For the first match of the German team a whole parkplatz has been arranged. So many people came, and it was crazy, just for standing you were supposed to pay 5 euro. A lot of ambulances, policeman, smurd…anyway I was quite surprised of how many people came to see the game. No doubt in my mind that the Australian Team was an easy team to pass. Good guys but they didn’t quite play; all I could say is that there was only one team on the field.
At the first goal everybody was ecstatic, 5 minutes later; more beer came on the way so I figured it was another goal. One of the things with this Germans is that they are too tall, and most of the times even if it was a big screen, well it was difficult to see it all. The best case scenario for me was 2/3 of the screen.
After the third goal, well that was already too much…..they started to play music in the background...and after the 4th goal…everybody started dancing…and this was a beginning of a very big party…let the beer flow…as they say...!!!

This is one of those things, that I will probably not going to forget to soon.In a sunny sunny day for the opening of the word cup 2010, we were sitting in a beer garden in the biggest park in Muenchen(and the third in Europe).The football match wasn't that great but the croud was amazing...Mexico-Uganda will stay in my memorry for some time.It is perfectly understandable why germans love football and beer.And now I am starting to like football as well, no wonder....

And this is exactly what you are not going to use!!

What you need(for 4 persons):
· 4 bananen
· 3 snikers
· Vanila Icecream (this I leave it up to you)
As the germans put it, so geht’s:
Take a knife and just cut the bananas on a side, without taking the cover out. Then put 2 bananas together, with their covers on and try to stick them together.After that you smash the 2 snikers between them till the gap fills.Turn your oven at 200 degrees and leave your snikersbanane there for about 10 minutes. When you get them out, well the snickers I hope melted and it looks caramelized. And this is it. Not quite!!! Don’t forget about the ice cream!! Just put it on a separate plate, so that everybody takes how much they consider necessary.Enjoy the calories.
